Excel Industries Limited is one of India’s leading
manufacturers and Exporters of Agro chemicals and Specialty chemicals.
In 1994, Excel became the first Indian Agrochemical company to be
certified ISO 9002. Four of our major plants are ISO 9002 certified and
two of our sites have ISO 14001 certification. We are Signatory to
Responsible Care concept.
Ever since our inception, we have built up a solid history and
reputation of developing, manufacturing and exporting chemicals.
We have achieved over 100 product and process breakthroughs that even
now are serving the specific needs of various clients. We are the first
company in Asia and third in the world to make Endosulfan Technical. We
are the first in Asia to make Butene Diol. We are second in the world to
develop Glyphosate Technical. We are the third company in the world to
develop Aluminium Phosphide.
We operate from eight manufacturing plants, which are strategically
spread across the country in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and
Silvassa. Our mainline distribution network in India comprises 14 branch
offices, with more than 4000 distributors and over 40000 dealers. At
Antwerp in Belgium, we have set up an office to get closer to our
customers in Europe, Africa and America. Moreover, we have
representative offices in Australia and Singapore.
We have a centralized world-class research center at our head office in
Mumbai, Maharashtra supported by individual state-of-the-art research
centers at each of our manufacturing plant. During the last six decades,
we have received various awards in recognition of our dedication and
excellence in the field of chemicals. We introduced and are actively
promoting Integrated Pest Management (IPM) to Indian farmers.
We are demonstrating the use of Integrated Crop Management (ICM)
techniques to the farmers. |
