BIOTERCEL  is a unique biological control agent for effective control of termites. This is a combination product prepared from effective strains of bacteria and entomopath ogenic fungi.

Action

These microbes once released will multiply in soil and infect the termites are allowed to live and move for a couple of days more to enable them to spread the disease in their colony and ultimately to the queen.

Hence the effect, though slow will be total over a period of time. These microbes are naturally occurring and not harmful to human beings and animals.
Content

1.5 % spores and 98.5 % inert talc material

Dosage

Depends on the intensity of infestation and place of application. In normal case 2 % solution (2 Kg dissolved in 100 liters of water) will be sufficient for treatment.
Application

The solution can be drenched in the soil and anthill from where the termites come out and sprayed on all surfaces and areas where termites frequently visit. For total control of the termites, drenching the source is very essential.
  Since it is a biological control agent, adequate time will have to be provided for these microbes to get established to multiply and infect the termites in the affected area. Three sprays at an interval of 21 days will result in near total elimination of termites from the treated area, provided the treatment is not interrupted with application of any chemicals.
  Precaution

Since this contains living organisms, chemical fungicides/bactericides should not be used along with it Spraying should not be done in the hot sun.
