What is Bioculum?
BIOCULUM
is mixture of CULTURE OF MICRO ORGANISMS specifically
developed for accelerated aerobic composting of organic
waste. It contains cultures of Bacteria, fungi and actinomycities along with enzymes, which facilitate bio
conversion of organic waste into a bio stabilized compost
speedily.
It is free from any toxic or hazardous material.

Bioculum is available in 1 KG and 5 KG LDPE and 25
KG HDPE bags.
Bioculum should be stored away from sunlight and in a
dry place within temperature range of 10C to 40C.
The shelf life of the product is one year. |

Application Method
-
Recommended dosage is 1 KG
fir 1 MT of organic waste.

If the waste is soggy,
then sprinkle the powder directly on the waste and mix it
thoroughly. If the waste is dry , prepare a slurry using
water per 1 Kg of Bioculum and then spray on the waste.
After mixing, the treated waste may be arranged in the
form of heap. For better results, Keep width of the heaps
as 3 to 4 meters and height up to 2 meters.

Moisture level of the heap
should be maintained up to 40%. If necessary, spray water
in between to maintain the moisture level.

Turn the heap upside down
every week for proper aeration.

If temperature does not
rise above 600oC during the first week of heap formation,
add Bioculum at the rate half the earliest dosage during
first turning.

Under normal conditions ,
composing process will be complete within 4-6 weeks.

During monsoon, the waste
may be treated and stored under a shed.
